Charli Turner Thorne is the Arizona State Sun Devils head women's basketbll coach.  She is the winningest Sun Devil coach since the team was established.

Turner Thorne asked for a 9 month sabbatical from coaching that was totally unprecedented.  She took an inventory of her personal and professional life and took that time to work on being a better coach.  She read, studied and learned how to be a better coach.  By month 8 she was chomping to get back to coaching.

Why she inspires:  Be sure to give yourself the luxury of doing a "gut check" when your life seems out of balance.
